Jeffrey “Digger” T. Raniere, 52, of Shoemakersville and formerly of Bethlehem, died on Oct. 19, 2015, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph and Carole (Vohlidka) Raniere Oscavich.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the Reading Motorcycle Club Inc.

He is survived by a son, Anthony Thornton of Fla.; companion, Cindy Undheim; two brothers, Kenneth and Frank; and a sister, Evelyn.

He was predeceased by a brother, Cliff.
