Reported in the 6000 block of Sweet Briar Lane, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors removed electronics, cash and a safe containing personal documents between 6:30 a.m. Oct. 14 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 15. Davis Scott Hittinger, 28, of Emmaus, is suspected by State Police at Fogelsville of allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and being in possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop along Minesite Road at Center Jackson Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:14 a.m. Oct. 9. Hittinger’s passenger, Cooper Thomas Wertman, 19, of Zionsville, is suspected of allegedly being in possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and underage drinking.
David Paul Andrews, 30, of Pennsburg, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Route 100 at Route 29, Upper Milford Township, 11:39 a.m. Sept. 17. Police investigation revealed Andrews allegedly was smoking marijuana and was in possession of a small amount of marijuana at the time.
Danelle Louise Shrawder, 63, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after an alleged traffic stop for multiple traffic violations along Emmaus Avenue at Main Street in Emmaus borough, 10:43 p.m. Oct. 7. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.
Stephanie Lynn Brickley, 30, of Allentown, was taken into custody after she allegedly entered Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township and removed items from the shelves and racks in the health and beauty and boy’s clothing departments. Brickley then allegedly concealed the merchandise inside her purse and exited the store without paying for the items. Brickley was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing.
Reported at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, two suspects entered the store and removed items from the tools/hardware and men’s clothing departments 9:47 p.m. Oct. 20. Both suspects exited the store without paying for merchandise in their cart. When confronted by store, the suspects fled the area in a light blue sedan. The suspects are described as two white males, one of whom was wearing a camouflage hat, green sweatshirt, black pants, and light brown boots. The other suspect is a 42-year-old male, of Allentown, state police say.
Reported by a resident in the 6300 block of Sauterne Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors used the resident’s identity to open a fraudulent credit card and purchase approximately $6,000 in merchandise at a Lowe’s store in Oxford, Ala., 1:35 p.m. Sept. 28. The investigation continues.

Reported in Wild Cherry Knoll Condominiums condominium development, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged three wooden stop signs in the development between 5 p.m. Oct. 17 and 7:45 a.m. Oct. 18. Small holes were made in several wooden signs using what would appear to have been a pellet of BB gun. The investigation continues.
A backpack containing marijuana and associated paraphernalia was found 2:30 p.m. Oct. 18, Meadow Lane, Lower Macungie Township. The owner of the backpack may have it returned by contacting Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Andrew Larry Beitler, 27, of Kutztown, was charged with summary disorderly conduct after he allegedly waved a pellet handgun while in the parking lot of Wawa, 3321 Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 1:20 a.m. Oct. 14. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.
Reported by a Macungie woman at Lower Macungie Road at Wild Cherry Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors threw a smoky firework out of a vehicle while the woman was traveling on Lower Macungie Road 6:40 a.m. Oct. 4. Reported in the 4700 block of Baus Road, Lower Milford Township, unknown actors forcefully broke into a vehicle and removed 11 boxes of carpenter nails valued at $430 between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 23.
Reported by a resident in the 3200 block of Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors charged $1,280.91 worth of items to the resident’s credit card. The investigation continues.
James Quinn, 48, of Coopersburg, was charged with reckless endangering in the 1000 block of Primrose Lane, Lower Milford Township, 12:09 a.m. Oct. 11, in an alleged domestic violence incident. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-03.
