VOLUNTEERS

The 13th annual Spirit of Volunteerism Awards will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 4 at blue grillhouse, 4431 Easton Ave. The event, coordinated by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, will be emceed by Eve Tannery of WFMZ . The honorary chair is Bob Oster, CEO of Concannon, Miller & Co.

The recipients are Just Born; Mark Pesavento of B. Braun Medical Inc.; Olympus Corporation of the Americas; Jeff Worman of Pro Compressor; Liberty Property Trust; Bryan Lobach of Embassy Bank; Potts Family of Potts’ Doggie Shop; and The PEAK TV. All are businesses and employee volunteers who, using their time and talents, have demonstrated excellence in community service.

Lois Frey, Knoll Furniture; Christopher Sherry, Walmart Dotcom Fulfilment Center; and Molly Albano, student at Muhlenberg College, will be recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award, a program created to thank and honor Americans who, by commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service.
