Matthew Melosky of Whitehall was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at Temple University, Philadelphia.
In order to be eligible for the dean’s list, students have to achieve a grade-point average of 3.63 or better.
Melosky is currently a sophomore. His major is undeclared.

Nicholas Melosky of Whitehall was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Muhlenberg College, Allentown.
In order to be eligible for the dean’s list, students have to achieve a grade-point average of 3.4 or better.
Melosky is currently a senior, majoring in accounting/finance.

SUNY
Kent Newhart of Whitehall, president of ATA Financial Group, has been named a 2015 SUNY Oneonta Alumni of Distinction honoree. Newhart graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 1977.
In 2014, the SUNY Oneonta Alumni Association established the Alumni of Distinction program to recognize graduates who have distinguished themselves through their careers, their service to their communities and their commitment to SUNY Oneonta. The Alumni of Distinction honor recognizes just a few of the thousands of alumni who have made significant contributions to society and whose accomplishments, affiliations and careers have honored the legacy of excellence at the college.
The 2015 Alumni of Distinction honorees were recognized at a ceremony Sept. 4, which is also “Red Day,” the anniversary of SUNY Oneonta’s founding.
