Robert E. Durnin, 62, of Emmaus, formerly of Allentown, died Oct. 15, 2015, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

He was the husband of Mary E. (Lenahan) Durnin.

Born Aug. 19, 1953, in Allentown, he was the son of the late William B. and Elizabeth (Dennis) Durnin.

He was president of the former American Lawn Equipment, South Whitehall Township, since 2007.

Concurrently, he was president of H&R Services Inc., Trexlertown, for 18 years.

He was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Robert W. and Hannah Rose, both of Allentown; sisters Rita Linn and her husband, Robert, of Emmaus, Lisa Durnin of Delaware; and sister-in-law Amy Durnin of Fleetwood.

He was predeceased by brothers, William B. III and John.
