To the Editor:

I had the privilege of working with Brad Osborne on the South Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners and observed how well he served the residents during his tenure as president of the board. Any resident of the township will affirm the respect, consideration and due diligence that Brad demonstrated with them when they raised issues and problems.

Today, Brad, as president of the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners, continues to exhibit these same qualities in his leadership and dealings with residents on county-wide issues.

We need to continue on the path to right sizing county services, balancing long-term needs with short-term constraints, and following fiscal policies that benefit the taxpayers of Lehigh County; all of which Brad has championed in his first term on the board.

Brad’s background, as a plant manager and board president on both the township and county level, uniquely qualifies him among all candidates running for this next term as county commissioner.

With an unrivaled thoroughness, strong core values and a common sense approach to the many complex issues facing the county, he has the residents’ interests as his sole priority, no hidden agendas and the utmost integrity.

I ask you to join me in voting for Brad Osborne for a second term on the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners. Let him continue his results-oriented work toward improving the lives of all county residents.
