Holy Trinity Catholic Church is hosting a two-day basket raffle party, with more than 300 gift baskets and prizes. Attend 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 31 or 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 1. Bid on your favorite prizes with raffle tickets, purchased at the door. The drawing will be 2 p.m. Nov. 1. Bidders do not need to be present to win.

The church is located at 4102 S. Church St.

Laurel Fire Company is hosting its annual turkey raffle 2-6 p.m. Nov. 15. The organization will be offering 20 turkeys on the main ticket, with many more raffles throughout the day.

Refreshments and one meal are included with each raffle ticket.

There are many great prizes this year. The prizes include chicken meals, bacon, sausage and a complete Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. So why not go on over to Laurel for this great community event?
