McCartney to speak Oct. 26

Ruth McCartney, CEO and co-founder of McCartney Multimedia Inc., will present a free, open to the public, “Big Data-How Every Mouse Click is Significant” at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26 in Prosser Auditorium.

The is a former Russian pop music sensation, and the step-sister of Sir Paul McCartney, will discuss the connection between user-generated data that is being created, uploaded, collected and analyzed on a real-time basis, to how companies and institutions measure and manage this unstructured information, and then use it to study customer behavior, predict trends, plan supply chains, teach students and more.
