Also on Oct. 17, Egypt Community Church is hosting an all-you-can-eat ham dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal will include ham, mashed potatoes, veggies, applesauce, beverages and dessert.

Children ages 6 to 12 eat at a reduced price, and those age 5 and under eat free.

Holy Trinity Catholic Church is hosting a basket party Saturday, Oct. 31 and Sunday, Nov. 1. More than 300 prizes will be awarded to those whose tickets are drawn at the conclusion of the event. Doors will be open 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Sunday. Tickets for bidding on baskets and prizes will be sold at the door. The drawing of winning tickets will be Sunday at 2 p.m. Participants do not have to be present to win.

During the event both days, homemade food will be available for hungry bidders, and there will also be a bake sale.
