Lehigh Valley Business Group and Crossroads Elder Advocacy Solutions and Services are seeking donations of toiletries and other personal items as part of the annual Shoeboxes for Seniors holiday campaign.

Trial-size lotion, cotton swabs, deodorants, baby powder and wipes; manicure sets, small combs and hairbrushes, toothbrushes, lip balm, pens, pencils, small notebooks and packs of tissues are needed.

Seniors

Lehigh Valley Active Life Center, 1633 W. Elm St, Allentown, will be hosting King Henry during a dance social 7:30-10:30 p.m. Oct. 3 in the Trexler Room at the center.

Doors open 7 p.m. There is a per person fee to attend. Refreshments will be available.

King Henry will also perform at the dance social 1-4 p.m. Oct. 7.

Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, is hosting “Serendipity 7” featuring artwork of Foo Hong Tatt students, 6-9 p.m. Oct. 6 in the activity center.
