Central Catholic hosted a cross country meet with Becahi, Freedom, Liberty, Emmaus and Whitehall at the Lehigh Parkway.

The Zephyr girls fell to Becahi 24-32, Liberty 19-36 and beat Freedom 21-34.

Liberty’s Raisa Kochmaruk won the race with a time of 18:54, over a full minute ahead of Becahi’s Kassi Yocco who was second.

The Zephs had two in the top-20, Autumn Dragouits was 14th with a time of 21:54. Hannah Gill was 20th with a time of 22:12.

On the boys side, Whitehall didn’t have a top-20 finisher and the Zephs dropped all three of their meets, two of them close ones: Becahi 28-30, Freedom 34-37 and Liberty 16-45.

Will Alpaugh of Freedom was the top finisher coming in at 16:47.
