The Greater Allentown Crop Walk to fight hunger will be 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown.

Registration begins 12:45 p.m.

Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will benefit local hunger relief efforts including the Allentown Ecumenical Food Bank and the Lehigh Conference of Churches soup kitchen.

The remaining funds will be used in the U.S. and worldwide for disaster relief and assisting poor families with seeds, tools and irrigation.
