Storytime with Miss Jo will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, 15, 22 and 29. All ages are welcome, and there is no preregistration.

Trivia Saturday will be noon-2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10. Stop by and try to stump our experts.

The library is selling Boscov’s shopping passes, which can be used at any Boscov’s location 9 a.m.-11 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20. Stop by the library and purchase a shopping pass. You could receive up to 25 percent off your purchases (some exclusions apply). Plus, Boscov’s will be serving free refreshments and will be giving away shopping sprees and prizes. The cost of the pass will be donated to the library.

We will be running a guessing contest for the month of October. Guess the number of candy pumpkins in the jar, and you will win a Barnes & Noble gift card. You could be the lucky winner!

During November, the library will be hosting a basket social. Baskets will be on display Nov. 2-14. There is a cost for tickets. The drawing will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, and all proceeds will benefit the library.

Our final book sale for the year will be 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14. We have a variety of books available, and more are arriving every day. If you would like to donate items, please bring them to the library. We no longer accept VHS tapes, audio cassettes, encyclopedias, text books and albums.
