Sharon M Gausling, 55, died Sept. 22, 2015. Born in Berkeley, Calif., she was a daughter of Robert and Patricia Mesmer of Tellico, Tenn. She was the wife of Mike Gausling for 23 years.

She was a graduate of Oak Ridge Tennessee HS, Notre Dame University, University of Tennessee College of Medicine and had her pediatrics residency at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

She was a pediatrician and was in practice until 1998.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Andrei; two sisters, Jennifer and her husband Craig McArthur of Huntsville, Ala. and their children Ryan, Chris and Kate; and Deborah Mesmer and her husband Dr. Henrik Olsen of Rockville, Md.; a brother, Dr. John and his wife Kathleen Mesmer of Oakridge, Tenn. and their children, Hailey, Garrett and Sydney; mother-in-law, Marcella Gausling of Hot Springs Village, Ark,; two brothers-in-law, William and his wife Teresa Gausling of Modesto, Calif. and their children, Jordan (and his children Mason and Noah), Michelle, and Celina; and Jim and his wife Stacey Gausling of The Dalles, Ore.; two sisters-in-law, Judy and her husband Steve Williams of Carolina Shores, N.C., and their children, AJ and Christy; and Mary and her husband Pat Curtin of Greer, S.C., and their children Aislinn and Daniel; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
