InVIsion

The fifth annual 2015 Olympus InVision Photo Festival will be held Nov. 6 to 8 at the Banana Factory, 25 W. Third St., and the ArtsQuest Center, SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way.

Olympus Trailblazer and Center Valley-based photographer Frank Smith will give a presentation on his recent trip to Cuba at 2:45 p.m., and former “Time” and “Life” photographer Rick Smolan, creator of the “A Day in the Life” book series, will give a presentation and will exhibit “Inside Tracks: Alone Across the Outback,” at 4 p.m., both on Nov. 7.

Smolan and Olympus Visionary and Trailblazer photographers will lead participants in capturing “A Day in the Life of Bethlehem” from noon to 5 p.m. on Nov. 8.

There will be InVision Photo Party, with live music by The Fabulous Greaseband, light refreshments and a cash bar. At that event, the public will vote to select one image as the fan favorite, with that person taking home an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Mirrorless camera and 12-40mm f2.8 PRO lens, courtesy of Olympus.
