Northampton Community College
Several Bethlehem residents enrolled in Northampton Community College’s practical nursing program received nursing pins on Sept. 3. They are Danika Alexander, Julia Barwick, Maribel Bennett, Daniel Cotto, Sara El Ghandour, Alyssa Gosling, Paola Loor, Wendy Peugh, Annette Schneck, David Sheriff and Ashley Swingle.
East Stroudsburg University
Bethlehem resident William Wood graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business management from East Stroudsburg University. He is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta honor society.
Wilkes University
Eight local residents earned master of science in education degrees at the completion of the summer 2015 from Wilkes University. The graduates are Michael Bachman of Fountain Hill; and Darlene DiCarlo, Kaylee Garguilo, Rebecca Haller, Jennifer Johnson, Amanda Kane, Matthew Koehler and Kara Zelko-Mease, all of Bethlehem.
Air Force Basics
Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Javedys Guzman graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
She completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
