After a few years’ hiatus, the Whitehall Fall Festival is back.
The township-sponsored festival will take place noon-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, in the Whitehall High School parking lot, located off Mechanicsville Road.
The event will feature displays by township-run organizations and community-operated groups, including Communities That Care and the Whitehall Historical Preservation Society.
The festival also will feature several high school clubs, whose members will discuss what they bring to the community.
The township fire department will have its fire trucks present, and the police department’s K-9 unit will have its canines demonstrating their skills.
Before leaving for a competition, the Whitehall High School Marching Zephyr Band will perform.
On the following day, Sunday, Oct. 11, the annual Whitehall Fall Festival Parade will attract large crowds.
Stepping off at 2 p.m., the parade will begin on First Avenue in West Catasauqua and make its way to Third Street in Fullerton, continuing onto Jefferson Street and ending at the Fullerton Playground.
