Lehigh Carbon Community College will host a fall college fair 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 6. Approximately 150 colleges and universities will be represented at Berrier Hall on the main campus in Schnecksville.

High school guidance counselors will be available for questions and financial aid workshops will run throughout the night.

Sounds like a very informative night for high school juniors and seniors.

Salisbury Middle School will host parent visitation day 8:30 a.m. Oct. 2. Come on in and follow your student around as they go to class. They will love it, trust me!

Salisbury Township schools are closed Oct. 12 for a teacher professional development day.

The class of 2016 is asking for donations of water bottles and sealed snack packs for the homecoming dance. Donations will be accepted in the main office of Salisbury High School before Oct. 15.

The Salisbury Music Association is holding a shopping fundraiser at Dan Schantz Greenhouse for fall plants and decorations.

Tickets can be printed from the school district website at www.stsd.org. When presented with a purchase of $10 or more, a donation will be made to the Salisbury Music Association.

An operations committee meeting will be held 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at Harry S Truman Elementary School.

A school board meeting will be held 7:30 Oct. 12 at the administration building.

Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church will host a community breakfast 8 to 11 a.m. Oct. 10. A donation is suggested. All proceeds benefit the 275th anniversary celebration.

The Devonshire yard waste drop-off site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 3 and Oct. 6 .
