Ontelaunee
The Pioneer Day Festival will take place 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 3 at Ontelaunee Park, 7344 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.
There will be antique tractors, cars and trucks on display.
In addition to artisans and 30 crafters displaying and selling handmade crafts, demonstrations of apple butter churning, blacksmith, woodworking and other daily life activities from the turn of the century, there will be food vendors, hay rides, children activities and entertainment.
There will be Pa. Dutch food, homemade candy and baked goods.
Lynn-Heidelberg Historical Society members will be giving tours of the buildings and grounds throughout the day.
Knowledgeable society members will be on hand telling stories of folklore and legends about the grounds and the buildings in the park.
