Tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 2, the Whitehall Zephyrs varsity football team will travel to Parkland to take on the Trojans. Kick-off is at 7 p.m. Come on out and cheer on the Zephs!

We are now in October, and Halloween is not too far off. One way to get into the Halloween spirit is to enjoy the thrill of a terrifying ride through the Haunted Woods in the Whitehall Parkway. Once again, the Whitehall Active Volunteer Fire Department Association sponsors this scary event every Friday and Saturday night in October, 7-11 p.m. The parkway is located off South Church Street, so gather up some friends and stop by for a fun time!

Autumn is here, and soon we will witness the gorgeous changing colors of the leaves. Enjoy the landscape, and do be careful when driving on leaves that have received a fresh coat of rain.
