The library is holding a 50/50 raffle, and you could be the lucky winner! Tickets are on sale now through Saturday, Oct. 3 at the library.

The drawing will be held at 4 p.m. that day.

The library will be having an October book and bake sale 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Oct. 2 and 3. We have quite a variety of books just waiting for a good home. We also have a selection of record albums, and we have several sets of books you may find interesting.

In addition to the regular book sale, we will be having an early-bird preview night 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1. There is an admission fee for the preview; all proceeds benefit the library.

If you would like to provide items for our bake sale, please contact Jane Gillespie at 610-261-1243, Joan Witko at 610-261-1221 or Sue Molitoris at 610-261-0484.

We are still accepting donations for the book sale. However, we no longer accept VHS tapes, audio cassettes, encyclopedias, text books or albums.

We are participating in a Boscov’s fundraiser. Stop by the library and purchase a shopping pass. Then take your pass to any Boscov’s location 9 a.m.-11 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 20. You could receive up to 25% off your purchases (some exclusions apply). Plus, Boscov’s will be serving free refreshments and giving away shopping sprees and prizes.
