Leslie D. Strickler, 97, of New Tripoli, died Sept. 4, 2015, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

He was the widower of Margaret E. (Oldt) Strickler.

Born in Jackson, he was a son of the late John and Elsie (Schaeffer) Strickler.

A farmer all of his life in Berks and Lehigh counties, he was a member of Frieden’s Lutheran Church, Stony Run.

His survivors include a brother Clark Beidler and wife, Mary, of Wernersville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Frieden’s Cemetery, 9727 Red Road, Stony Run, Kempton.
