The Blue Mountain League Hall of Fame is pleased to announce their selections for induction to the BML Hall of Fame for 2015.

The committee - made up of Bob Schuster, secretary treasurer; John Bisco, Jack Kinney, Mike Mihalik, Andy Pitsilos, George Pitsilos, Dave Stoudt and Tom Soudt Sr.) made their selections from a slate of 35 nominations.

The 2015 selections are:

Mike Deutsch

A five-time champion over his 15-year career, Mike not only compiled a .332 career batting average but won 74 games as a pitcher, one of the higher totals in league history. He played for the dominant Catasauqua teams of the 1990s and the Orioles in the early 2000s.

Mike Palos

An outstanding athlete, Mike batted .362 with over 225 runs batted in for the Orioles and Cardinals in his 12-year career.

Tom Stoudt Jr.

Tom Jr. joins Tom Sr. as the seventh father-son combination in the hall of fame. A hard-hitting shortstop for the Oriloes, Tom compiled an outstanding .396 career batting average over 14 seasons. He belted 88 home runs and drove in over 380 runs.

A banquet and reunion honoring the new members of the Blue Mountain League Hall of Fame, and all past inductees, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Holy Family Sick and Relief Hall in Nazareth. Tickets are priced at $30 per person and are available from any hall of fame committee member, or by calling Bob Schuster at 610-691-0200.
