Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 3

In the 400 block of Bridge Street, a civil matter occurred with a contractor.

A fire occurred in the 700 block of Second Street because of a problem with the home’s gas line. Police responded.

On North 12th Street, an unlocked vehicle was entered into, but nothing was reported stolen.

A nonreportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Pine Street. Two vehicles were involved.

SEPT. 4

Police assisted EMS with a female patient in the 700 block of Fifth Street.

Officers assisted EMS with a sick male in the 100 block of Prospect Street.

A request for three “no parking” signs was granted on Second Street.

A parking ticket was issued by police in the 400 block of American Street.

In the 500 block of American Street, a parking complaint was filed with police. A parking ticket was issued.

Police arrested an individual driving under the influence on Third Street. Police say the investigation is continuing.

In the 100 block of Howertown Road, a tree was blocking the roadway. The fire department also responded and removed the tree.

Officers issued a traffic citation in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a faulty smoke alarm brought police to the building.

SEPT. 5

A noise complaint summoned police to the 600 block of Walnut Street. Individuals agreed to move inside.

In the 500 block of Front Street, an argument occurred between brothers.

Officers assisted EMS for a sick person in the 600 block of Walnut Street.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a wanted person was referred to the magistrate.

A traffic citation was issued for failure to pay for a parking ticket on Willow Street.

Police issued a traffic citation for failure to pay a parking ticket in the 500 block of American Street.

In the 100 block of Front Street, a traffic citation was issued for failure to respond to a written warning.

Officers issued a traffic citation in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

SEPT. 6

Police assisted EMS with a sick male in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

Police responded to a harassment issue at Silver Manor, 2 Front St.

An EMS assist in the 500 block of Second Street required officers’ attention.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., police responded to a harassment issue.

A domestic offense report brought officers to the 400 block of Tioga Street.

On Cambridge Place, a suspect was cited for an assault.

SEPT. 7

In the 700 block of Third Street, a vehicle was reported stolen.

Items were taken from a vehicle in the 600 block of Walnut Street. Police investigated.

A parking complaint was reported to police for a vehicle blocking a driveway on Front Street.

Police assisted EMS in the 800 block of Bridge Street.

A kitchen fire brought police to the 100 block of Circle Drive.

A report of a reckless driver in the 500 block of Fourth Street occurred.

A traffic citation was issued in the 200 block of Race Street.

SEPT. 8

A fight in the 100 block of North 14th Street summoned police. No charges were made.

On Poplar Street, an officer issued a traffic citation.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a harassment complaint occurred.

Officers assisted EMS for an ill female in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

A female with a breathing problem required the help of EMS and Catasauqua police in the 100 block of Circle Drive.

An officer issued a traffic citation on Third Street.

EMS required assistance by police on Race Street.

A theft occurred in the 300 block of Union Street. The department’s investigation will continue.

A stolen handgun was reported from a vehicle in the 500 block of North 14th Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua Police Department with a large group on Chapel Street.

An officer ticketed a vehicle for a parking complaint on Howertown Road.

SEPT. 9

In the 700 block of Front Street, a silver Mongoose bicycle was found.

In the 200 block of Walnut Street, police assisted EMS for an ill male.

A traffic citation was issued for failure to respond to a parking ticket in the 400 block of Church Street.

EMS required assistance from police with an ill female at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

An abandoned vehicle was tagged by police on Covington Place.

The department conducted information research on an IRS phone scam on Covington Place.

EMS required assistance with a female patient in the 500 block of Third Street.

SEPT. 10

Police assisted EMS with an individual who had a diabetic problem in the 500 block of Third Street.

EMS required assistance with a patient in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Officers responded to a noise complaint on Front Street. The music was turned down.

The department assisted North Catasauqua Police Department with detaining a juvenile in the 1000 block of Railroad Street.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a male entered the property at night. Police responded.

SEPT. 11

A traffic citation was issued by police in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

A non-reportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Railroad Street.

A residence in the 200 block of Church Street reported fraudulent use of a credit card.

Police assisted Whitehall Police Department with a search in the 3000 block of Lehigh Street.

A disturbance occurred in the 600 block of Church Street. No arrests were made.

In the 100 block of Milton Street, a permit for roof work violated an ordinance.

A vehicle was entered into in the 800 block of Walnut Street. No items were missing.

SEPT. 12

Police assisted Bethlehem Township Police Department in the 800 block of Church Street.

In the 100 block of Walnut Street, a suspicious vehicle was reported.

Officers conducted a citizen’s assist in the 100 block of Front Street. Police reported that possible fraud occurred.

An argument between neighbors summoned police to Front Street. No arrests were made.

The department, 118 Bridge St., conducted a public service with the 10th annual National Take Back Day.

Officers assisted EMS for an elderly male patient in the 800 block of Church Street.

In the 800 block of Church Street, police assisted EMS for a female patient.

The department investigated a death in the 500 block of Third Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua Police Department with a DUI stop.

SEPT. 13

A vehicle was tagged in the 100 block of Union Street because of a parking complaint.

Police responded to a dispute in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., the theft of a mobile phone was reported.

Police received a 911 hang-up call in the 200 block of Main Street.

In the 200 block of Peach Street, a domestic dispute occurred.

Officers assisted EMS at D & D Market and Deli, 252 Race St.

SEPT. 14

On Howertown Road, disorderly conduct brought police to the scene for a group of students from Medical Charter Academy.

Officers investigated a noise complaint in the 800 block of Faith Drive. Loud music was turned down upon police’s arrival.

A citizen assist was required at Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St.

In the 400 block of Bath Avenue, three “no parking” signs were issued upon request.

Damage to a vehicle brought police to the 300 block of Second Street.

Police responded to a domestic dispute, an argument between a husband and wife, in the 400 block of Church Street.

A Megan’s Law violator was identified in the 600 block of Walnut Street.

A motor vehicle accident occurred on Main Street, police reported.

SEPT. 15

Police sought information at the station for a surrendered license plate.

In the 400 block of Church Street, a protection-from-abuse order was violated.

Officers responded to an animal complaint in the 600 block of Bath Avenue. A Chihuahua had bitten an individual.

EMS required assistance in the 500 block of Second Street. A sick female was transported to the hospital by a family member.

A vehicle was repossessed in the 100 block of Middle Street, police reported.

Officers assisted EMS with a male patient in the 200 block of Wood Street.

A juvenile with a mental health issue from Catasauqua Middle School was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

SEPT. 16

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 600 block of Front Street.

A noise complaint brought officers to the 200 block of Peach Street. Individuals agreed to go inside upon police’s arrival.

A male passed out at M & B Market, 410 Second St. Police assisted EMS with the situation.
