Raymond S. Bennett

Raymond S. Bennett, 89, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 12, 2015, in St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Harry S. and Verna (Frankenfield) Bennett. He was the husband of Jean (Houser) Bennett for 63 years.

He was in the U. S. Navy during World War II.

He was a self-employed electrical contractor for 43 years until he retired.

He was a member of East Hills Moravian Church, Bethlehem, where he was a trustee and sacristan.

He belonged to the M.O.R.A. club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David of Woodbine, N.J., and Karl and his wife Valerie of Kenosha, Wisc.; a daughter, Tracey and her husband Todd Stanton of Harrisburg; a brother, Harry and his wife Helen of Bethlehem; and seven grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the church, 1830 Butztown Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
