Loraine M. Henthorn Green, 91, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 17, 2015, at King’s Daughters Home, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Baily) Boyer. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Green.
She was a cashier for the City of Bethlehem for more than 21 years until she retired in 1984.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth and her husband Richard Esterly of New Ringgold and LeEtta Gangwer of Bethlehem; a son, Ralph Sr., and his wife Mindy of Lehighton; two sisters, Faith Newhall of Bethlehem and Joan Mitchell of Bath; two brothers, Thomas Boyer of Bethlehem and Arthur Boyer of Sellersville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Paul Henthorn Jr.; and a sister, Alma Bracken.
