High school girls’ soccer seasons for Bethlehem Catholic, Freedom, and Liberty began earlier this month with only one victory in seven games among them.
Liberty was victorious over Northampton by a score of 3-1. Olivia Askerneese and Merve Okumus scored in the first half, and Okumus had another goal in the second half for the Hurricanes.
Last week, Liberty lost to Allentown Central Catholic 2-0.
Freedom has also been scoreless, falling to Nazareth 5-0 and Whitehall 2-0.
Bethlehem Catholic was shut out in their losses to Parkland 8-0, Northampton 7-0, and Central Catholic 6-0.
