Frieden’s Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Kempton, will be hosting an Apple Festival from 2-8 p.m. Sept. 19.

The event will take place rain or shine.

There will be apple dumplings, tarts, crisps and fritters, plus funnel cakes, ice cream, hamburgers, soup, fries, hot dogs, barbecues and other home cooking.

From 5-8 p.m., entertainment will be by “The Majestics,” who perform classic country, bluegrass and other styles of music.
