Kathryn E. (Shebest) Hauze

Kathryn E. (Shebest) Hauze, 88, formerly of Catasauqua, died Sept. 11, 2015, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Walter F. and Marie C. (Shaffer) Shebest. She was the wife of the late Lewis E. Hauze.

She was a registered nurse in the private practice of the late Dr. William Dewar until she retired in 1960.

She was a member of Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Catasauqua.

She is survived by three children, Lewis J. of Whitehall, Marie C. of Bethlehem and Douglas A. of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Paul C. Shebest of Kalamazoo, Mich.;and two grandchildren, Rebecca and Max.
