Upper Macungie Township police say Lehigh County Parks reported a wooden deck portion of a boardwalk at 1148 Mosser Road, Upper Macungie, was damaged by fire between Aug. 22 and 8:15 p.m. the next day.

Firefighters extinguished the smoldering remains, police say.

The fire burned through the wood decking and caused approximately $500 in damage.

Police say a 44-year-old woman from the 8300 block of Willow Run, Upper Macungie, reported 7:10 p.m. Sept. 2 numerous items such as gift cards, clothing and jewelry were stolen over the last four months from her home.
