Mark E. ”Shorte” DeLong, 38, of Walnutport, died Sept. 3, 2015, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem Campus.

He and his wife Marianne K. (Hargreaves) DeLong were married eight years on Jan. 20.

Born Feb. 22, 1977, in Allentown, he was the son of Benneville E. Jr. and Jane A. (Leinbach) DeLong of Allentown.

He was a landscaper in the Lehigh Valley for the last 23 years.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by children Autumn N. Stauffer of Zionsville, Lexie F. and Mark E. Jr. both of Walnutport; siblings Michael, Matthew and Bailey DeLong, all of Allentown, and Michele J. Hargreaves of Slatington.
