The grounds at Second and Chestnut streets continues to be developed. Landscaping and a beautiful planting of various flowers gives the town a fresh look. There has been no mention of any formal name for the passive setting. More projects for the site are expected to occur this autumn.

The community banners that are hung on utility poles on the borough’s main and other streets have been a success. Individuals, businesses and organizations are still encouraged to become a donor and fund the banners, which feature the Saylor Cement Kilns.
