There will be a celebration for dogs noon-5 p.m. Sept. 12 at Cedar Creek Parkway. Rain date is Sept. 13.

Music will be by Acoustic Project.

Allentown Fire and Police departments will give demonstrations. There will be pet and parent look-alike, grooviest dog and other contests.

In addition, there will be pet health and wellness clinics, pet blessings, rescue demonstrations, exhibitors, agility courses and auctions.

Bring a new dog toy, collar, leash or dog food for the participating rescues.
