Police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Race Street. A pole was struck and damaged.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua Police Department on a welfare check of an individual in the 1000 block of Third Street.

A background report was conducted on an individual in the 100 block of Bridge Street. Records were negative.

AUG. 18

Officers found a cellphone in the 300 block of Front Street.

On Howertown Road, a cable wire was down. Police secured the wire.

Officers were called to suspicious activity in the 400 block of Pine Street.

An EMS assistance was requested for an ill male in the 200 block of Circle Drive.

On Second Street, police responded to a road rage incident.

Police conducted a background check on an individual in the 100 block of Bridge Street. Records were negative.

A welfare check on an individual brought police to the 200 block of Front Street.

Officers conducted a missing adult search from the 400 block of Front Street. The adult was located.

AUG. 19

An animal complaint was reported to police in the 400 block of Erie Street. Police responded to dogs barking.

At the Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., officers responded to a sounding alarm. The building was secure.

Officers assisted EMS at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., with a male patient.

Property was found at the police department, 118 Bridge St.

Police assisted EMS in the 100 block of Front Street for a male patient.

An EMS assist was requested in the 100 block of Circle Drive.

Officers assisted EMS and the fire department on Union Street for an ill male.

AUG. 20

Police assisted EMS for a male with a mental disability at Catty Mart, 547 Front St.

In the 700 block of Crane Street, police responded to a sounding fire alarm.

A request for “no parking” signs was issued near 417 Limestone St.

Officers assisted EMS at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., for a female patient.

A nonreportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Race Street.

AUG. 21

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 100 block of Second Street.

An EMS assistance was filed with police in the 700 block of Third Street.

Police assisted U.S. marshalls in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

The theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Circle Drive. The vehicle was a Ski-Doo.

AUG. 22

Police assisted EMS on Race Street for a male with a mental disability.

A domestic offense against family report brought police to the 300 block of Church Street. The report involved custody issues.

A domestic disturbance occurred in the 200 block of Second Street. Upon arrival, police found the argument quieted.

In the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, an individual was checking cars. The suspicious activity was reported to police.

An unwanted person brought police to the 400 block of Front Street. Officers removed the male from the residence.

Two vehicles collided in a minor crash on Lehigh Street. It was a nonreportable motor vehicle accident, according to police.

AUG. 23

Suspicious activity occurred on 12th Street. Police were unable to locate individual(s).

An attempted burglary in the 200 block of Mulberry Street summoned police.

AUG. 24

Police responded to a report of a wallet stolen at Catty Mart, 547 Front St.

Officers assisted EMS in the 100 block of Front Street.

A report of a missing juvenile brought officers to search the 200 block of Church Street. The juvenile was located.
