There will be a library fundraiser at Samuel Owens Restaurant 4-9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15. Take a seat in the dining room, and our friends at Samuel Owens will donate 10 percent of your check to the library. This is a win-win for everyone! You will have a delicious meal, there will be no dishes to do and the library will receive a donation.

Stop by our October book/bake sale 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2 and 3. We have record albums looking for a good home, and we also have sets of books for sale.

In addition to the regular book sale, we will be having an early-bird preview night 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1. There is a cost to participate in the preview night.

All proceeds will benefit the library.

Donations are still being accepted. We no longer accept VHS tapes, audio cassettes, encyclopedias, text books or albums.
