Virginia V. Laidman
Virginia V. Laidman, 98, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 27, 2015, at the King’s Daughters’ Home, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Alexander C. and Ruth (Clewell) Vaughn. She was the wife of the late William “Ted” Laidman.
She was a graduate of Moravian Preparatory School and Bethlehem Business College.
She was a member of Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem, where she was a former secretary and was in the Busy Workers and the Friendship Bible class.
She volunteered as a sacristan, candle-maker and star-maker volunteer at the church She volunteered at New Bethany Ministries and Miller Memorial Blood Center.
She is survived by a son, William “Tim” Timothy of El Cerrito, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Sierra Laidman, also of El Cerrito.
