Virginia M. Gove, 91, of Bethlehem, Sept. 2, 2015, at her residence. Born in Boston, Mass., she was a daughter of the late David and Elvina (Johnson) Carlson. She was the wife of the late Brandon P. Gove.

She earned a master’s degree.

She was a trained dietician and worked at Boston Floating Hospital. In her early years, she was a teacher and a librarian.

She is survived by a son, Bradford Allan and his wife Sarah A. of Foster, R.I.; a sister, Jean Weicker of Stratford, Conn; and three granddaughters, Haley, Brita, and Georgia Gove.

She was predeceased by two sons, Joel David Gove and Brandon Keith Gove.
