Carolyn (Woodring) Frey Currier

Carolyn (Woodring) Frey Currier, 95, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 2, 2015. She was the wife of the late Truman L. Frey Jr. and the late Charles Currier.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing degree from Temple, Cornell and from New York Hospital School of Nursing.

She was the executive director of the Sayre Child Center for ten years.

She is survived by four sons, Barry and his wife Lucy of Bethlehem, Douglas of Raleigh, N.C., Thomas of Bethlehem, and William and his wife Faye of Coopersburg; a daughter, Lynne and her husband Mark Harakal of New Bern, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Jane.

Contributions may be made to the Truman L. Frey Jr. scholarship fund, c/o th Lehigh Valley Foundation.
