Remember to stop by the St. John the Baptist Church picnic this Sunday, Sept. 6, from noon until 9 p.m. The picnic is on church grounds at Ruch and Chestnut streets. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy some entertainment and delicious food fare!

Good luck to all of the students in our community who are heading back to school! Also, good luck to the student athletes participating in fall sports, which are starting soon if not already in progress.

The Whitehall High School varsity football team will open its regular season at home on Friday, Sept. 4 against Pocono Mountain West. Come on out to Zephyr Stadium to enjoy some great football action and cheer on the Zephs!
