Another year of high school football returns, but unfortunately, week one is littered with so many cross over games in the East Penn Conference, paving way to predictable results.
The bright side is Saturday’s Bethlehem Catholic-Liberty showdown, which is the marquee game of the weekend.
After that, there’s much to be desired, but with that said, here’s how we think teams shape in order heading into their week one encounters.
1. Parkland
Trojans are too powerful for the Huskies.

Pates could be the team that challenges Parkland this season for supremacy.

Hawks looking for a District 11 3A three-peat.

Rovers could face some hurdles in this opener with many new starters.

Hurricanes have a lot to prove.

This is where the second-tier of teams start and will certainly move around during the season.
