Welcome back to school, Salisbury High School students!

There will be no school Sept. 4 or 7 for the Labor Day holiday. One last weekend of summer before all the hard work starts.

Come out and support SHS’s varsity football team at the first game 7 p.m. Sept. 4. The game is at home versus Saucon Valley. Hope to see you there.

To help get back into the school spirit, the Salisbury Athletic Booster Club is holding a clothing sale. The clothing for sale may be viewed and orders placed at https://myteam.svsports.com/stores/salisbury-athletic-boosters-2015. The deadline to order is Sept. 15.

The Salisbury boys and girls soccer teams are selling spirit cards. Spirit cards offer discounts at many places throughout the area. The discounts offered are good until fall 2016. See a SHS soccer player to purchase a card.

The 2015 Lehigh Valley K9 Trials will be held 9 a.m. Sept. 27 at the SHS stadium.

This year, the money raised at this event will go to a scholarship fund being created to support police officers, their families and canine partners.

Come out and support your local police officers at this special event.
