Leon V. Lohrman, 90, of Fogelsville, died Aug. 27, 2015, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital.

He was the widower of Arlene B. (Schaffer) Lohrman.

Born in Lehigh County, he was the son of the late Luther and Viola (Rupp) Lohrman.

He was a machinist for the former A.P.G. Machine Corp. for 35 years.

A member of Morgenland Church, Orefield, he served on the consistory for many years and was a member of Kutztown Grange.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII and was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for more than 30 years.

His survivors include daughters Susan, wife of Doug Solt, and Linette Hausman, all of Emmaus; grandchildren Kimberly and Cory Hausman and Stephen Solt; and great-grandchildren Jazmine, J.R. and Pierce.
