Golf season kicks off

Whitehall competed in a golf match with Stroudsburg, Central and Freedom recently, dropping all three contests.

Stroudsburg shot 411, CCHS 428, Freedom 445 and Whitehall 529.

Stroudsburg’s Sam Ewing had the low round of the day with a 78.

Whitehall’s Patrick Stinner and Chase Hutterer both shot 93 to lead the Zephs.

The match was played at Allentown’s par-72.
