Gloria J. Obyle, 80, of New Tripoli, died peacefully Aug. 22, 2015, surrounded by her family in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the widow of Wayne R. Obyle.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was the daughter of the late Paul O. and Lillian E. (Peiffer) Werley.

She was the food service director for Northwestern Lehigh School District for 35 years, before retiring in 1994.

She was a member the Fogelsville Fire Company Ladies Auxilary, the Kempton Community Center and the Fereinicht Deitsh Fulk, where she served as secretary.

She was a member of Ziegels United Church of Christ, Breinigsville.

Her survivors include a son Bruce Obyle and wife, Carol, of New Tripoli; daughters Gwendolyn, wife of John Pongracz, of New Tripoli and Faith Nunez of Elkins Park; grandchildren Rachel Dise, Theresa Miller, Benjamin, Clinton and Donovan Ruth, Diego, Jose and Pablo Nunez; five great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by grandsons Jason J.P. Obyle and Alan Ruth.
