Deborah “Debbie” Geist, 59, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 15, 2015, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Robert Geist for 27 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late William and Betty (Newhart) Zsilavecz.

She attended Liberty HS.

She was a waitress for many years at the Main Street Depot, The Vineyard and Gus’s Crossroads.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jenna; three brothers, Michael Zsilavecz and his companion Diane, Barry Zsilavecz, and Stephen and his wife Lisa Zsilavecz; two sisters-in-law, Janet and her husband Paul Maslany and Joann Zsilavecz; and her father-in-law, Robert Geist, all of Bethlehem.
