Gilbert Huertas

Gilbert Huertas, 79, died Aug. 18, 2015. He was the son of the late Trinidad and the late Hermenejilda Huertas. He was the husband of Rosemarie G. Andre’ Huertas for 58 years.

He was a carpenter and was employed by the Bethlehem Area School District for 31 years.

He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church.

He was a member of many local clubs and organizations.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Emilia and her husband Jose’ Antonio DosSantos, and Andréa Huertas; two granddaughters, Laura and Danielle DosSantos; two brothers, Luis and Trinidad Jr.; four sisters, Maria, Mercedes, Catalina and Juanita; nieces; nephews; godchildren; aunts; uncles; cousins; and extended family member and friend, Vicki Theman.

He was predeceased by his in-laws, Jose’ and Emilia Andre’; a brother Basilio; a sister, Luz Maria; a brother-in-law, Antonio Andre’; and a grandson, Neil DosSantos.

Contributions may be made to the church, 312 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 18015; or to St. Luke’s Hospice, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Suite 200, Bethlehem, PA 18017; or with a thought or prayer.
