Gerald B. Werst

Gerald B. Werst, 104, of Forks Township, died Aug. 21, 2015, in the Weston Senior Living Center at Sullivan Trail. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Martha S. (Breisch) Werst. He was the husband of the late Jean Werst and the late Hazel (Leatherman) Benner Werst.

He was a draftsman at Western Electric and Lucent for 16 years. He was a broadcast engineer for NBC in New York and in Washington, D.C., for 21 years.

He was a member of Emmanuel E.C. Church, Bethlehem.

He is survived by a step-daughter, Joan Taylor of Allentown; and four step-grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Beth and Jonathan.
