St. John's United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will host a vendor fair Saturday, Aug. 22, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will be held indoors.

Join in for a day of shopping. Vendors include makeup, kitchenware, jewelry, food, bags, cleaning, skin care and many others.

There will be lots of homemade crafts including artwork, photography, woodworking and more. There will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, bake sale and more. Proceeds support the youth group's summer mission trip and national youth event in Orlando, Fla., in 2016. For more information, call 610-264-8421.

AARP Chapter 3115 will meet at noon, Thursday, Sept. 3 at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay. The group "Sing for America" will entertain. Refreshments will be available.
