John A. Lindahl

John A. Lindahl, 69, of Whitehall, died Aug. 15, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice, Allentown.

He and his wife, Rhonda E. (Hamm) Lindahl, celebrated their 41st wedding aniversary in June.

Born in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Carl A. and Sylvia (Gill) Lindahl.

A truck dispatcher for Brentagg Northeast, Reading, for 30 years before retiring in 2011, he was a 1964 graduate of North Penn High School, Lansdale.

He was a member of Jacob's Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Township.

He faithfully and honorably served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Matthew C. and his wife, Marie Elaina, of Emmaus; sister Carole L., wife of Charles Hallman of Pottstown; grandchildren Evan and Olivia Lindahl; and his mother-in-law Marion F. (Reitz) Hamm, of Germansville.
