According to Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim, the body of a 53-year-old Bethlehem woman was discovered Aug. 16 in the Lehigh River, just south of Treichler's Bridge, North Whitehall Township.

Patricia M. Rasmuson, 1968 Ravenwood Drive, Bethlehem, was pronounced dead 12:45 p.m. that same day by Lehigh County Deputy Coroner David Krause, Grim said.

An autopsy was performed Aug. 17 to determine the cause of her death.

Grim said he ruled the manner of her death a suicide.
